Ford Escape Lineup Overview

All-Wheel Drive Disconnect
The all-wheel drive drivetrain that is available for the new Ford Escape features AWD Disconnect, which allows the rear axle of the Escape to be disconnected when the all-wheel drive system isn't needed. The feature ultimately improves the fuel and energy efficiency of the Escape.
Choosing Different Drive Modes
The Ford Escape allows drivers to select between four different driving modes based on the terrain that they are traveling on. The Selectable Drive Mode system improves the traction and comfortability of the Escape based on the condition of the road underneath its wheels.
