The Ford Ranger is a mid-size pickup truck model that is available in three trim levels. For the new model year, the Ranger can be equipped with the optional Black Appearance package, which adds a variety of gloss-black elements to the truck.
Performance Features
The new Ford Ranger is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The Ranger can be equipped with either a two-wheel drive drivetrain or a four-wheel drive drivetrain. The four-wheel drive drivetrain of the Ranger provides half an inch more ground clearance than the two-wheel drive drivetrain.
Off-Road Durability
The Ford Ranger is designed to travel both on the road and off the road. When equipped, the Ranger allows drivers to choose between four different drive modes based on the terrain that they are traveling on. The new Ranger can also be equipped with the optional Tremor Off-Road Package, which adds several off-road suspension components to the truck.
